Domaine des Sonnettes 'Pied de Mouton' Gamay, Poulsard

BRIGHT RED   CRUNCHY   WHITE PEPPER Body: Light Grapes: Gamay (85%), Poulsard (15%) Region: Bugey, France Vintage: 2022 Winemaker: Lisanne van Son & Edouard Gouyette Winemaking: Gamay was whole bunch maceration / poulsard destemmed then macerated / left to ferment for 1 week / elevage spent in tank ABV: 12.5% Volume: 750ml Serving Suggestion: Let it cool in the fridge for 30 minutes then take out and leave it out when you're ready to drink. Cherries and spice! Yum. Slightly wild but contains itself at the right moments. Open it up and let it breath for a minute before you go jumping to conclusions. Drinks even better and hour or so after opening if you have the patience. Bright cherry cola juice with refreshing acidity and a lovely kind white pepper at the end.
